Rare Vintage Harry Potter Antique GRINGOTTS Bank BRASS SCALES W/ PROMO Coins Lot
SOLD $1,175.00 Sold: Mar 27, 2025 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
You are looking at an extremely rare 1890s antique vintage brass scales set that are screen matched to the EXACT SERPENTINE ones that were used in the GRINGOTTS goblin bank scenes and sets in all the Harry Potter movies, universal parks AND IN THE LAST PICTURES HERE IN THE HARRY POTTER NEW YORK STORE. These were the actual serpentine scales that were ONLY manufactured in the late 1800s and early 1900s and it was these particular scales that they used for all of the Harry Potter movies. I would like to be clear that these scales were not the actual props that were used in the movies but THESE ARE THE same ANTIQUE brass SCALES and not manufactured props. I am an honest Harry Potter fan and eBay seller so it is important to note that above the base and upwards to the serpent head and fish scales and pans are 100% screen matched to the movies however the base varies slightly from scale to scale and even though this base has the complete set of weights which is very rare in and of itself - the base in the movies is not screen matched but it is important to note that these scales are extremely hard to find and only manufactured in a limited time period so they are extremely sought after and the most iconic features are the serpent head where the fish scales hang which are very screen accurate and displays beautifully! The ones featured in the movie and screen accurate can command upwards of $3,000 to $6,000 - just look and filter what other eBay auctions have sold at. The ones I have sold and acquired have been both 100% screen accurate but as I said some bases vary from piece to piece and so I feel it is important to note that to collectors and buyers. They are gorgeous and detailed and included along with these vintage antique brass scales are:Two promo Gringotts coin vault bags each with two sets of the 3 Gringotts coins, the galleon, the knut, and the sickle. *****See all pictures are accurate and serve as description. What you see is exactly what you get!!!This will be a unique rare stand out movie SCREEN MATCHED prop replica to add to your Harry Potter Gringotts shelf or your Harry Potter memorabilia promo collection. These are all iconic, hard to find and a must have and even more rare and hard to find are these ANTIQUE BRASS scales!!*** The selling price if you filter on eBay for actual past sales for this exact item was last sold for $1,100 and I am keeping the buy it now price the same but I am offering best offer for $950 and up ….. that is firm and non negotiable … these are as seen in the Gringotts bank movie set, the London Studio Tour, the Wizarding world universal theme parks at the Gringotts ride and more importantly as shown in these last pictures at the exclusive Harry Potter New York Store! Good luck bidding and Thanks for looking! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
