?This listing is for an ultra rare original Professor Slughorn wand in Ollivanders box?Whether you collect wands, retired Noble Collection items or rare Harry Potter pieces, this wand is for you!Around 2006, Noble Collection began releasing a full line of Harry Potter character wands. What made these wands special is they came in collectible Ollivander's wand boxes with soft velvet like display for the wand, and metallic looking accent ribbon to cover the wand. This style wand box is screen accurate as seen in a Ollivanders wand shop.Some main characters wands can still be found in the collectible box, but several of the characters wands in collectible box have long since been discontinued and Professor Slughorn's is one of the big 7 wands that have become ultra rare and difficult to find.Noble Collection still sells Professor Slughorn's wand (as well as other characters) however they now use a cheaper style box that is smaller with a hard plastic insert and no decorative details or screen accurate elements Another major difference is the quality of the wand. Anybody who has handled a retired Noble Collection wand will know, the older wands are just higher quality. They are sturdier and heavier and just feel so different compared to the wands that are currently available for sale.Slughorn's wand is very ornate and unique. The handle is very detailed with metal style accents. The shaft of the wand has a slight wave to it and black and silver vine like detail. The soft velvet like inside is a deep emerald green color (for Slytherin!)I've included a photo of the original Noble Collection catalogue advertisement for Slughorn's wand as well as a photo of the 7 retired Noble Collection wands.In great condition! I haven't seen a retired Slughorn wand for sale on eBay in a long time so now is your chance.
